Alfa Romeo Winner: 1972 Giulia Super
|
This Giulia Super was delivered to Amsterdam in November of 1971. After 2 owners, it was restored by Garage Maestricht in the Netherlands between 2018-2020. It was subsequently acquired by the current owner in May of 2022 via Bring-a-Trailer. Since that time, the owner has restored or replaced all the suspension, braking, steering and ignition components. The 5 speed transmission was rebuilt by Dan Fowler of Fast Company in 2023.
Fun fact: The Giulia was the world's first production automobile whose body was shaped in a wind tunnel. The Giulia recorded an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.34, producing the same drag as a C4 Corvette. |
