Ciao!
The Cortile della Corsa has been described as the crown jewels of the car shows at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. Cortile is Italian for “Courtyard” and it’s befitting the name because of the gorgeous Italian vehicles that sit in front of The Pittsburgh Golf Club promontory.
The Cortile features the best of Italian design, with sports cars from Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Fiat, Lancia, Lamborghini and Maserati to name but a few.
Saturday at the Grand Prix is when the Cortile Cup is awarded for best in show and for each Italian Marque.
On Sunday, the Car Show Participants move to the Westinghouse Pond VIP Area for “Wine on Nine” to watch the racers negotiate the exciting hairpin at Turn 9.
All Italian cars, all makes and ages, are welcome to the annual Cortile Italian Car Show. Enjoy the entire weekend at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix overlooking the car shows on the Schenley Park Golf Course.

Proiettore Macchina 2025: Bizzarrini
Each year the Cortile selects a marque or model to highlight for the annual event based upon factors such as historical significance, unique local interest, and brand resurgence.
For 2026, we are proud to announce Bizzarrini as the Proiettore Macchina. Giotto Bizzarrini’s influence spans some of the most celebrated names in Italian automotive history—from his engineering work on the Ferrari 250 GTO, to the Lamborghini V12, to his collaboration with Iso Rivolta, and ultimately the creation of his own marque. The 2026 Cortile will showcase this remarkable legacy, featuring examples from Ferrari, Iso Rivolta, and Bizzarrini, including the stunning Bizzarrini P538. You can READ MORE HERE. Join us July 18–19, 2026, at Schenley Park as we celebrate the man whose engineering vision bridged racing innovation and the design of Italy’s most distinctive road cars. Many other Iconic marques like Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Fiat , Lancia, Lamborghini & Maserati will also grace the fairway!

"...Then there are the events that subscribers SHOULD anticipate, know about, attend and afterwards fail to let go of. We’ve become enamored with events like the Crescent Classic, Keeneland Concours, the French Quarter Classic (on hiatus) and the latest entry to this wonderful list… The Italian Cortile at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix" ~Chad Ensz, Ferrari Market Letter, August 2011
"Fantastic event in every respect. It's rare to find such an all inclusive auto event . . . open to the public, all marques, beautiful city park, reasonably priced, well organized, worthy charity. It just doesn't get any better from a motorhead's point of view. Bernie and his crew just keep making it better every year."
~ Bill Ebert, Senior Judge for the International Advisory Council for the Preservation of Ferrari Automobiles (IAC/PFA); FCA-Mid Atlantic
“The Germans invented the automobile. The Japanese made it affordable. The Americans made it a disposable item but, the ITALIANS taught it to dance & sing!” ~ David Davis
